What is the difference between your carpentry, woodworking and cabinet services?
Carpentry is work we build into the house itself: built-ins, trim, accent walls and ceiling treatments, scribed to your walls and finished on site. Woodworking is freestanding furniture built on the machines in our shop and delivered finished. Cabinetry covers kitchens, baths, garages and laundry rooms, built in our shop and installed by us.
Can you build from my own design, drawings or a photo I found?
Yes. Most projects start with a photo, a sketch or a rough idea of what you want. We measure the space, talk through materials, hardware and finish, then confirm the design and the price with you before any wood is cut.
How long does a typical project take?
It depends on the size of the job and the finish. A single built-in is usually a short project, while a full kitchen or a large custom piece takes longer because of the build and the finishing time. You get a clear schedule before we start and updates as the work moves along.
Do you build in your shop or in my home?
Both, depending on the piece. Furniture and most cabinet boxes and doors are built in the shop, where we have the machines, the dust collection and a controlled space for finishing. Anything that has to meet your walls, floors and ceilings is fitted and finished on site so it sits tight to the room.
Do you handle both residential and commercial projects?
Yes. We work with homeowners, businesses and property managers, from a single set of built-ins in a living room to reception desks, retail fixtures and cabinetry for an office or clinic.
